Shots and Colic, Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011
Yesterday, Razzi and Lad had their fall shots. Hope and Brychan were feeling poorly with a colic, so they didn't get theirs.
Twister's foot has improved to the point that he may be ridden. Judy is to treat it until the aluminum Spray is gone. He had his teeth floated.
As of Weds., Oct. 5th, we have owned our Colorado home for 7 years. It seems like 7 months.

Hunter and Hope
Since Hunter's decline, Hope has protected him. She has been his Guardian Angel. Today as we led him down to his final resting place Hope began to call to Hunter. He called back to her. She broke through the gate of the corral where the other horses were being kept and ran down to him. He quieted and she stayed near him. We stayed with Hunter, touching him and talking to him until the end. Hope also stayed with him until the end. As soon as Hunter was gone, Hope left and went back to the other horses: Hunter was no longer there and he no longer needed her.
